Yes, from the mountain station at Oeschinensee Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland, you can take a winter hike to the shore of Lake Oeschinen. We recommend taking Trail (D) via Läger to the viewpoint and then Trail (C) directly from the lake back to the mountain station. When open, the Ice Walk on the frozen lake also offers an additional, unique winter hiking experience. Good, warm winter hiking boots or snowshoes are required.
