The municipalities located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site, such as Kandersteg, have committed themselves in the Konkordiaplatz Charter—along with the surrounding municipalities—to comply with all regulations applicable within the protected areas on municipal land. Our Outdoor Guidelines are based on these and other applicable regulations. Please observe the Outdoor Guidelines and their extensions to protect wildlife and nature in Kandersteg and the Bernese Oberland—both in the Oeschinensee area Oeschinensee the Sunnbüel area.
