Wild camping and spending the night in the great outdoors are prohibited in the Oeschinensee area Oeschinensee Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland. Camping, bivouacking, and spending the night in hammocks or similar arrangements are prohibited by court order. Oeschinensee patrol the area, and wildlife must not be disturbed, especially at night. There is a campground at the valley station in Kandersteg. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m.
