Tent canopies and sunshades are not permitted in the Oeschinensee Sunnbüel area near Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland, as they disturb large and small game as well as birds and have a lasting negative impact on their behavior. However, we strongly advise our guests to take adequate precautions against the sun: Bring hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses, stay in the shade as much as possible, and cover your skin.
